Voorschoten – This year Voorschoten Jazz Culinair has its 5th anniversary! To celebrate this, the duration of the event has been extended to 3 days to pack in as much fun as possible! The festivities begin on Friday the 10th of June.

One hundred, local, national and international musicians from blues, soul, folk and jazz genres will perform. The musicians and bands include: Coal Harbour, Leo’s Drugstore, Btrio-plus, Frits Katee, Rommy Halifax & the Fabulous Orchestra, Wouters Kiers Band, Flirt, The Shepherds, BBQueenies, 4Sisters. On Sunday at 7.30pm the event will be closed with an exciting saxophone battle between the well known Hans Dulfer, Wouter Kiers, Boris van der Lek and the sax-player of the BBQueenies.
 
It is not just your ears that will be entertained; selected restaurants in Voorschoten and Wassenaar are also joining the festivities with celebratory  Jazz festival dishes.
Participating restaurants include: Floris V, Restaurant Alexander, Restaurant De Knip, Brasserie & Winebar ‘t Regthuys, Het Wapen van Voorschoten, Pizzeria Ristorante Fratelli , Ristorante Va Bene, La Casita, Mas O Menos, Tries No. 54, Chocolaterie Zoete Lekkernij and Ijs van Matthijs
 
Voorschoten Jazz Culinair will be held from Friday the 10th of June, 6.00pm until Sunday the 12th of June on Voorstraat.
