Voorschoten - Liberation Day 2016 in Voorschoten will commence with a special honorary tour of a rally of Torch bearers who will be accompanied by Military vehicles from the second World War, Keep Them Rolling. This event begins at 11.00.

The Torch runners will cover a distance of 135 km, from Hotel De Wereld in Wageningen to The Malieveld in The Hague. They will be accompanied by all 40 Keep them Rolling military vehicles.

The Liberty Tour will come from Leiden via The Leidseweg passing the Town Hall, Raadhuislaaan, Oranjeboomstraat, The Molenlaan to The Voorstraat. At 11.00 the runners, accompanied by the 40 Military vehicles, will be welcomed by the musical rendition of Fanfarekorps Tamarco, Leiderdorp. Everyone is very welcome to cheer this auspicious and historic event.

The Honourable Mayor Staasten will receive the Torch in a ceremonial manner with the National Anthem, after the ceremony the tour will continue its journey via Wijngaardenlaan through to Wassenaar for its final destination at The Malieveld in The Hague.
